About the Rad Power RadExpand 5

A foldable electric bike has a hinged frame and usually a folding handlebar stem and pedals, so it collapses into a compact package for carrying and storage. Closest alternatives by price: DAHON Unio E20 ($2,499), DiroDi Cortina Fat Tyre Folder ($2,499) and Eunorau E-Fat-Step 20 ($2,299).

The folding feature trades a little ride refinement for convenience, so handling is typically quicker and twitchier than that of a full-size bicycle. Compare the folded dimensions with the boot, locker, desk space or carriage you plan to use, and think about carrying weight as well as size.
