About the Inokim Light 2 Hero

A commuter e-scooter is a stand-up kick scooter with an electric hub motor and rechargeable battery, designed to carry one rider across town without any pushing. Closest alternatives by price: Segway Ninebot Max G2 Pro ($1,399), Segway Ninebot F3 Pro ($1,398) and Segway Ninebot ZT3 Pro D ($1,490).

The rider stands on a deck between two wheels and uses a thumb or twist throttle on the handlebar to accelerate, with a brake lever to slow down. Students, office workers and anyone replacing short car trips may find the type convenient, provided the local rules allow it and the route feels safe.

Inokim has 4 products listed, from $1,399 to $3,699.
