About the Mercane WideWheel Pro V2
The rider stands on a deck between two wheels and uses a thumb or twist throttle on the handlebar to accelerate, with a brake lever to slow down. Closest alternatives by price: Navee S65 Commuter Scooter ($1,499), Segway Ninebot ZT3 Pro D ($1,490) and Segway-Ninebot MAX G3 E ($1,539).
A handlebar display usually shows speed, battery level and riding mode, while a charger plugged into a normal outlet restores the battery between trips. Flat or gently rolling routes with reasonable surfaces suit this type, whereas very steep hills, rough tracks and long distances may push a lighter scooter beyond its comfort zone.
It is currently the only Mercane product we list.
