About the Bosch PowerTube 625 Horizontal Battery

Some batteries mount on a rack, others slide into the down tube or clip onto a frame cradle, and each mounting style depends on the bike’s design. Closest alternatives by price: Bosch PowerTube 500 Horizontal Battery (BBP3750) ($1,299), Pedego Long Range Cargo Battery 48V 20Ah ($1,572) and Bosch PowerTube 750 Horizontal Battery (BBP3770) ($1,599).

Touring and adventure riders who cover remote routes tend to plan around battery capacity first, then choose luggage and gearing around it. Check the physical dimensions and weight against the space in the frame, and confirm that the charging port layout suits the charger you already own.
