About the Bosch PowerTube 750 Horizontal Battery (BBP3770)

Some batteries mount on a rack, others slide into the down tube or clip onto a frame cradle, and each mounting style depends on the bike’s design. Closest alternatives by price: Pedego Long Range Cargo Battery 48V 20Ah ($1,572), Specialized U2-710 Battery (Turbo Tero, Vado and Como Gen 2) ($1,716) and Bosch PowerTube 625 Horizontal Battery ($1,399).

An internal battery management system watches cell balance, temperature and current, and cuts power if the pack is over-stressed, overheated or discharged too far. Confirm the mounting style and key lock type, because a pack designed for a down tube cradle will not fit a rack mount.
