About the Fiido D11 Compact Folder

The compact size in the name suits tight storage and mixed transport trips, so check it still fits your height and weight. An electric motor assists the rider, which offsets the extra effort that small wheels and compact gearing can demand at speed or uphill. Closest alternatives by price: Leitner Folding E-Bike Step-Thru ($1,599), Engwe EP-2 Pro Fat Folder ($1,699) and Fiido D21 Lightweight Folder ($1,699).

Office workers whose building does not allow bikes to be left outside can fold the bike and keep it close, safe from opportunistic theft. Enquire about the availability of tyres, tubes and spare parts, because small wheel formats can be less common than standard sizes.

Fiido has 6 products listed, from $382 to $1,799.
